When the 2016 Presentation Summit convenes in Las Vegas this October, it will do so with one of the most recognized names and faces in the presentation community, as Nancy Duarte returns to the conference which she helped put on the map.

“Nancy was with us for our inaugural event back in 2003,” recalls conference host Rick Altman, “back when nobody had heard of us and we didn’t have a clue what we were doing. She brought instant credibility to our efforts.”

“It is always such a rewarding experience to attend the Presentation Summit,” Nancy notes. “When you get so many people together at once, all of whom having so much passion for what they do, that creates an energy that you can’t replicate elsewhere. I love that environment and am excited to be able to return to it.”

The author of three best-selling books, Nancy’s keynote theme is expected to be inspired by her latest offering, Illuminate: Ignite Change Through Speeches, Stories, Ceremonies, and Symbols (co-authored with friend and co-worker Patti Sanchez). “I have watched companies and industries come and go,” she says, “presentations are the communication medium that helps people adapt to a new future.”

Duarte, Inc. is the largest communications firm in the highly-competitive Silicon Valley and is the fifth-largest woman-owned business in the United States.

“We regularly poll our patrons about whom they would like to hear speak at the Summit,” says Altman, “and I don’t think it has happened yet that Nancy doesn’t top the list. So we couldn’t be happier than to give them all whom they so obviously want. The demands on her time these days are so high, we are even more grateful today for her participation than we were 14 years ago.”

Registration is now open for the 2016 conference, to be held Oct 23-26, in Las Vegas. www.PresentationSummit.com. Attendance is limited to 200 people.

  1. This will be my sixth visit to the Summit but the first time I get to hear Nancy. Lucky 6 will be my number at the tables during my visit in the fall. 🙂

  2. That is so exciting that Nancy will be at the conference this year! I have put together my proposal to management to get approval for us to attend.
