While ruminating over our big promotion this month (every registrant in June gets a free year with the Presentation Guild), I am reminded of the Guild’s coming-out party in 2016. They were the lunchtime sponsor Monday afternoon, and nobody there had really heard of them. I should say “heard of us,” as I was a founding member, but I was trying to play it cool.

Out came president Echo Swinford, telling a crowd of 200 that “it’s time we had an organization that advocates on behalf of you, that supports you, that fights for you. The place lit up like we were at a revival or something. It was one of the most impactful moments in conference history, and few in attendance that year will have forgotten it.

From those energetic and passionate roots has sprung up an international organization that brings community to its members 24×7 and 365 days of the year. The Presentation Summit regards community building as one of its most sacred duties, so it is no wonder that the two orgs have shared so many achievements.

Sign up for the conference in June and enjoy a free month with the Guild, on us.

Now that you have made it most of the way through this article, might you like to join our mailing list? We only send it out about once a month, it’s usually thought-provoking articles (occasionally thoughtless, so say our critics), and it’s never spammy.
